With a background as a Marine combat veteran, security consultant, and legal scholar, Mr. Newberry brings a unique blend of experiences and expertise to our organization.

Matthew Serveido
Matthew Serveido is currently serving as a volunteer for the Boots to Health Foundation. As a former Air Force Veteran with multiple deployments, he understands the importance of programs like this. After going through the program himself, he recognized the valuable impact it has on the lives of veterans and decided to offer his time as a volunteer. Matt says it has been a rewarding experience to give back to his fellow servicemen and women in this way.

Her expertise is in fundraising, marketing, strategic planning, public relations, and project management. Shea's educational background in political science and government from Penn State further reinforces her qualifications and dedication to making a positive impact.

Dr. Victoria Fritz, a once-devoted physician, shifted her focus from cardiothoracic surgery to supporting health innovation and veterans after her own health battle led her to pivot to a new career path. Victoria’s personal struggle led her to empathize deeply with the human spirit. She now aims to utilize her medical background to advocate for and provide essential care to veterans, embracing a new calling to make a lasting impact on those who served.

Mike Mark
Mike Mark has more than 35 years of senior executive level experience in the
healthcare industry. Having served as a CEO and Board member for health plans
and provider organizations, Mr. Mark offers valuable strategic insight and
unparalleled expertise from a business perspective. Also, his experience as a
senior level executive includes responsibility for global and national information
technology and consulting corporations. He has held board and senior level
executive positions for Not for Profit and for-Profit organizations.

Mark Fulton
Mark is a seasoned healthcare professional with over a decade of experience specializing in project management. Currently based in Virginia Beach, VA, Mark has made significant contributions to Sentara Health Plans, notably adding $18 million to the organization's bottom line through innovative interventions benefiting their population. As a veteran of the Virginia Army National Guard, he brings a disciplined and strategic approach to healthcare initiatives, ensuring impactful and sustainable outcomes.

Nick Hall
Nick Hall is an Army veteran passionate about helping others find and understand their God-given potential. As an active-duty soldier, Nick became keenly aware of the looming relationship between the chronic stressors of military service and the subsequent utilization of unhealthy coping strategies such as alcohol and drug use. Already an advocate for exercise, Nick found that one of the best ways he could help others overcome these unhealthy habits was a holistic coaching approach of physical training and productive conversation. Nick believes every person is blessed with unique abilities, and physical training is an essential tool in the process of uncovering them.

As an Advisory Board Member for the Boots to Health Foundation, Joshua brings a wealth of
experience in leadership, training, and organizational development. Joshua's commitment to
excellence and his passion for supporting veterans' transition to civilian life align perfectly with
the foundation's mission. His proven track record of implementing effective training solutions
and fostering an organizational culture of growth and adaptability will significantly contribute to
the foundation's efforts in enhancing the health and well-being of veterans.

Brea Bennett
With over 20 years of experience, Brea’s diverse background includes managing day to day and
strategically focused functions – including Executive Leadership, Accounting, Finance, Human
Resources, Payroll, Administration, Operations, Facilities, Grant Management, Contracts, and
Revenue Cycle, primarily in the nonprofit sector. She has dedicated her career to helping
nonprofits whose missions are to end hunger and homelessness, provide equitable opportunities,
and those addressing mental health--particularly as it relates to youth and veterans. Her senior
leadership opportunities have included employment with several international nonprofits, such as
Covenant House International as Controller and Make a Wish America, as Senior Manager of
Accounting Services. In addition, she has served as Director of Finance and Accounting for the
North Texas Food Bank and has been the Chief Finance and Administrative Officer at Treatment
Assessment Screening Center, an Arizona nonprofit dedicated to alcohol and substance abuse
prevention and counseling, since February 2018.
